Aren’t these guys the cutest? I had them in the studio for a short and sweet Milestone session to commemorate their first birthday. When babies are mobile, it makes things a whole lot more interesting (as I’m sure you moms out there fully understand!) One trick I use that works most of the time is having babies sit on something…usually a box or crate like you see here. If they are crawlers or early walkers they aren’t as likely to jump off the box and run away. So…this trick won’t really work with an older toddler who’s mastered walking (or running), but it definitely helps get little ones to sit still for just long enough to capture those great smiles 🙂
