What’s better than one strawberry blonde baby? Two strawberry blonde babies! How adorable are these brothers that came to visit my studio? I actually photographed big brother as a 1 year old and was so thrilled to have him back with his new baby brother. Mom requested an all-neutral color palette which made my heart sing! Neutrals are my jam.

This little guy was so good that I was able to get through several different setups. We did sibling photos, swaddled photos, three prop poses, and some photos on the beanbag. This is a pretty typical “workflow” for my newborn sessions. I go into each session with a roadmap and sometimes have to adjust to baby’s needs. Sometimes babies aren’t a fan of being posed on their belly, like this baby, so I opted for more on-the-back and side-lying poses. You can still get a beautiful gallery even if baby won’t do every single psoe (and most won’t!)
